Sausage and Mushroom Quiche

Oh man! You know I love a good quiche. I tried out a new recipe and modified it to make it, in my opinion, even better!


  • 5 eggs

  • 1/2 tsp of thyme

  • Pepper

  • Salt

  • Two andouille sausage links

  • Probably about half a cup of chopped mushrooms

  • Half a small onion diced


  • Sauté the diced onion until light brown. Add the sausage and then the mushrooms. Remove from heat when sausage is done. Dump the seasoning in. In a separate bowl, whisk 3/4 cup of milk and 1.5 tablespoons of flour. Add in 5 eggs and beat until well blended. Add cheese to the bottom of the crust and then add some into the egg mixture. Add the sausage mixture into the egg mix and then pour over cheese in pie crust. Bake on 400 for 45. FEAST
